Joseph Wesley-Septimus Evans

Joseph Wesley-Septimus Evans, 20, of Boulder, passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, in his home. He was the beloved son of Deanna Andru and Raymond Evans.
Joseph studied applied math and computer science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He loved his position as a tutor at the Mathematics Academic Resource Center (MARC), which he held since the fall of 2016.
Joseph was an aspiring scholar who will be missed by his loving family. He is survived by his parents; his siblings Samantha, Daniel, and Kyle; and his grandparents Ellen, Carol, John, and Gail.
A memorial gathering and vigil will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the CU-Boulder campus, Mathematics Building, Room 175 (the MARC) from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A photo of Joey, who loved to wear ties, will be displayed. Attendees are welcome at anytime during the day and are invited to drape a tie around Joey's photo, in honor of his memory.
