Henry John Rickelman

Henry John Rickelman, 57, passed away from natural causes at his home in Westminster, CO on April 24th, 2017.
Born on June 29th, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN and adopted by parents Bernard Francis Rickelman and Jeannette Mary Altoff Rickelman, “Harry” earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver Law School. After living in Chicago, IL, Harry settled in Colorado and worked as an attorney in Denver. He married Carla Alane Hammit in Boulder on May 19th, 2012.
Harry enjoyed motorcycling, gardening, hunting, and he was a talented musician. His motorcycle group was active in helping the Toys for Tots charity, and he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Carla (Westminster, CO); his son, Benson Rickelman (Durango, CO); his daughters, Hannah Rickelman (Westminster, CO) and Joanna Gillespie (Boulder, CO); and his sisters, Mary Cay (Westminster, CO) and Rose Marie Findlow (St. Louis, MO). Harry was preceded in death by his father, Bernard and his mother, Jeannette.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13th at 1:30PM at East Boulder Baptist Church, 7690 Baseline Road, Boulder, CO 80303, with a reception to follow. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
