Charles Sommers

Charles Richard Sommers, Jr., 78, of Broomfield passed away peacefully on July 12, 2013. Private family services will be held with a Masonic ceremony. Charles was born on Sept. 20, 1934 in Milwaukee, WI. He had a 44 year career as a Pattern Maker in Foundry Service, retiring in 1999 from Colorado Pattern. Charles served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Lafayette Masonic Lodge #91, A.F. & A.M. and Excelsior Chapter #66, Order of Eastern Star. Survivors: wife Margueritte; sons Christopher, Brandon, and Benjamin; step-children Cathy Long, Sherri Harris and David Long; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
