Carl M. Randall

Carl M. Randall, 94, of Boulder, died January 31, 2017 at Boulder Community Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 2425 Colorado Ave., Boulder, CO 80302. Carl was born February 25, 1922 to Carl M. and Lelah (McLeod) Randall in Fine, NY. He attended Edwards High School, graduated from Carson Long Military Academy, and attended two years of college in Ithaca, NY, before joining the U. S. Army during WWII. Upon returning from the war, he worked for and subsequently purchased Sunnyside Dairy in Edwards, NY, which he ran until 1966. He moved his family to Boulder, CO, in 1965, commuting periodically until the business was closed. He supported his family as a real estate agent, candy maker, security guard at NCAR, and antique dealer. Carl had many varied interests including reading, travel, gardening, antique collecting, and sales. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, golf and bowling. He participated in the ABC/USBC national bowling championships for 41 consecutive years, commencing in 1975. He was an active member at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church. Survivors: sons, Carl (LaRayne) Randall, Mead, CO; Donovan Randall, Edwards, NY; Paul Randall, Arvada, CO; Bruce (Rotha) Randall, Arvada, CO; daughters, Carol (Gene) Bigarel, Gouverneur, NY; Deborah Randall, Seattle, WA; Clarinda Krause, Boulder, CO; Sarah Martinez, Taos, NM; Michele (Albert) Montoya, Cuba, NM; 19 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, wife Barbara Randall; sister Janice Campbell; grandchildren Alessandra Randall and Zachary Randall.
