Barbara Janelle Beaber

Barbara J. Beaber passed away at Boulder Community Health on June 27, 2015 at the age of 72. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. A private family service in celebration of her life will be held. Barb was born September 27, 1942 in Mancos, Colorado to Jack R. Allum and Nellie Matlock. She went on to graduate from Montezuma County High School in Cortez, Colorado before going on to pursue studies at the University of Colorado. On June 19, 1960 Barbara married Jerry L. Beaber, in Montez, Colorado, and moved to Boulder for a 55 year long marriage. Barbara, a mother of four, had a comprehensive work history as a bookkeeper and accountant for The Coors Classic International Bicycle Races, Estey Printing Company, Thor 24 Travel, and Shoyeido Incense. Barbara is survived by her husband of 55 years Jerry L. Beaber, of Boulder, sons Kevin Beaber (Lisa Baugh), of Ordway, CO, Kent Beaber (Rya Merschat), of Denver, CO, Kory (Carisa) Beaber, of Lafayette, CO, and daughter Kristy (Alfredo) Greco, of Ocala, Florida.
