Anne Miller Hasse was born in Chicago and raised seventeen miles west of the city. Soon after  high school she headed west to attend  the University of Colorado, returning to Illinois only for short visits. During her life, Anne was employed as a social worker, paralegal and town clerk and finally found her niche as a Master Gardener. She died after a long struggle with leukemia. Anne is survived by cousins Tom Wisvader, Bill Wisvader and Marilyn Rees, and her dear

friend Tom Gibson.
